By Raju Shanbhag, TMCnet Contributor
Companies these days are looking to run their business in real time. This enables them to be more responsive and react to situations quickly and effectively.
SAP (News - Alert) has announced that three of its original equipment manufacturer (OEM) partners are now qualified to sell their solutions running on the SAP HANA platform. These partners are AlertEnterprise, Clockwork and PROS, and they can now provide their customers with access to real-time data and advanced solutions.
SAP HANA allows the partners to use massive amounts of data to their advantage, enabling them to deploy improved business processes for their clients. The number of licensed OEM partners for the company has been steadily rising in the last few years.
SAP HANA allows its partners to play an important role in building the business of their clients. SAP works with developers, independent software vendors (ISVs), systems integrators, software resellers and startups.
Solutions by SAP HANA allow clients to improve analytics, business processes, predictive analysis and sentiment data processing. The solutions also allow users to test-drive numerous solutions with the help of the company’s in-memory technology.
“We have already seen greater adoption of SAP HANA within our ecosystem, and the OEM space will serve as a critical piece in delivering this game-changing solution to customers of all sizes in North America," said John Graham, head of Ecosystems & Channels, SAP Americas (News - Alert). "Our OEM partners are leaders in their markets, and by running SAP HANA, they can help end users be more flexible, faster and knowledgeable about their business. Through these partnerships, SAP demonstrates the symbiotic relationship it has with its ecosystem.”
Recently, the company partnered with Esri to bring together GIS solutions with platforms and enterprise applications from SAP. This is believed to improve business efficiency and decision-making for the clients.
