SAP Announces Rapid Deployment Solutions Worldwide

By Rajani Baburajan, TMCnet Contributor

SAP, a provider of enterprise application software, announced the availability of its rapid-deployment solutions worldwide.

These affordable and easily deployed offerings are designed to meet the business requirements of finance, human resources, IT, marketing, manufacturing, sales, service, supply chain and sustainable operations.

After making it available in North America and German-speaking countries, SAP (News - Alert) launched the rapid-deployment solutions worldwide. SAP will continue to introduce on a regular basis further affordable, fixed-scope solutions addressing customers' critical business needs.

These solutions are expected to strike a balance between line-of-business demands for fast results and the IT department's need for low-risk solutions. Companies including Integria Healthcare, alfanar, Cecofar and Vitrea have leveraged SAP Rapid Deployment solutions. They realized time-to-value in less than 12 weeks from these solutions.

“Companies are under pressure to significantly improve their business practices, and they are looking for business solutions that can quickly deliver a better user experience and rich functionality,” said Joshua Greenbaum, principal, Enterprise Applications Consulting, SAP, in a statement.

Integria Healthcare is a manufacturer, wholesaler and distributor of natural healthcare products to retailers and health practitioners in Australia.

“We expect to reap big efficiencies around call cycle planning and complaints handling,” said Damien Wilson-Brown, sales manager, Western Australia, Integria Healthcare. “This will increase our face time with customers and therefore improve sales overall.”

Besides a number of updates and enhancements available with rapid-deployment solutions, SAP introduced an additional 15 offerings as part of its quarterly release cycle.

These offerings allow customers to address a variety of areas.

These solutions must integrate with their existing applications portfolios while addressing specific business needs. On-premise solutions targeting specific line-of-business needs are an important option, if they can deliver the ingredients necessary to improve business functionality. With these solutions, customers are more satisfied with their jobs.

Recently, SAP announced that SAVO Group’s SAVO on-demand Sales Enablement application is now an SAP-endorsed business solution. With this, sellers can use this solution to gain critical insight and content whenever they need it.
