By Nathesh, TMCnet Contributor

Sybase, a provider in enterprise and mobile software, released the Sybase Mobile Sales for SAP (News - Alert) CRM for BlackBerry smartphones -- a new “super app” that delivers an integrated application experience on BlackBerry smartphones.

Sybase (News - Alert) Mobile Sales for SAP CRM provides anywhere, anytime access to SAP Customer Relationship Management software from iPhone and Windows Mobile smartphones and now with RIM BlackBerry (News - Alert). Whether at a customer site or in an airplane, a company’s sales professionals will always have quick and reliable access to their CRM data from their mobile device of choice in order to maximize their productivity and effectiveness.

By making available business-critical data on BlackBerry smartphones using the Sybase Unwired Platform and the BlackBerry platform, SAP and Sybase are transforming enterprise operations that are capable of addressing short-term imperatives of bringing down costs and better decision making in the field and also achieve differentiated abilities to compete effectively over the long-term.

Officials with Sybase said that they are seeing CRM as one of the primary entry points for enterprise mobility implementations. Real-time mobile access to proven business applications in the SAP Business Suite significantly drives innovation, productivity and the overall customer experience. Sybase has built a unique mobile experience for the SAP CRM application for BlackBerry smartphones and that, combined with the BlackBerry enterprise solution's strength in the enterprise and their mobility platform, allows them to transform businesses through enterprise-wide mobility globally, said officials.

“Sybase Mobile Sales for SAP CRM delivers the type of powerful experience their enterprise customers expect on BlackBerry smartphones,” said Jeff McDowell, senior vice president at Research In Motion. “We look forward to future innovation on the SAP, Sybase and BlackBerry platforms to empower the developer community to build 'super apps' for the SAP Business Suite that deliver a true, native BlackBerry experience.”
